We’re bombarded with security concerns and told over again how important IT security is.
But what do we actually need to do to ensure we are secure & safe?
Let’s take a look at 3 areas:
- Passwords
- Website
- Files
Passwords
We all have them, but what is a password anyway? A username says that you have an account and the password says that you have the right to access that particular account.
What is a strong password? In essence, it’s completely unguessable by humans, and difficult to crack by computers. It usually contains a random set of letters and numbers and special characters, & often 25 characters in length. Obviously, the longer the password, the more difficult it is to crack, but also the more difficult for you to remember. So how do you remember passwords?
